In 1998, she left her hometown of Sydney, Australia and travelled to Greece with a heavily underlined copy of Plato's Symposium. She wanted to find her "other half", which she promptly did and is now destined to travel back and forth between Australia and Greece.
She spent three chaotic years in Athens getting to know the city via her job as arts&entertainment staff writer for the Athens News and now alternates between exploring and writing about Greece (and other subjects).
She has work published in Greece Now and has contributed to Odyssey magazine. She updated the chapters on Epirus & Thessaly and Northern Greece for Fodor's Greece, 6th Edition.
Her poetry and fiction appear or will appear in Word Riot, MiPo, Comrades Journal, Eclectica and Yankee Pot Roast.
